Who We Are
Goldfinch Building Company is a residential general contractor led by builders. Founders Tim Curtis and Aidan Fitzstrawn bring more than two decades of combined experience in the trades, and an owner is on every project, from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
Every project starts as someone's idea. Our job is to listen, be straight with you about what it takes, and build it with care. We hold high standards for ourselves and for the work.
We live here, and we plan to be building here for a long time. That shapes how we treat our clients, our trade partners, and this place.
What We Build
New homes · Additions · ADUs · Detached garages and outbuildings · Interior remodels · Kitchens and baths · Decks
How We Work
We prefer time and materials because it is the most honest way to build. You pay for the actual labor and materials, and you can see the hours and costs behind every invoice. Fixed price is available for clearly defined projects.
What Our Clients Say
"I can't say enough about Tim and Aidan! They make a fantastic team, are professional craftsmen, and skilled at solving unexpected challenges (and there were quite a few while remaking my old deck), always with an insistence on quality solutions. They kept the area clean and organized, and were conscientious about leaving the work area neat and orderly at the end of each day. In the end, they produced a deck we were all very happy with."
Esther, deck rebuild
“Aidan and Timothy have a ton of experience between them. This means that we just described what we wanted and they figured out how to make our vision a reality.”
